Fresh Milled Flour

If you are looking to get started with milling your own grains, but want to try out fresh milled flour in your kitchen before you make the big purchase of a grain mill, I’d like to help! I know it is a big financial commitment to purchase a mill, and given the adjustment for using fresh milled flour, it’s helpful to have some to try out before you make the leap!

I purchase all my grains and wheat berries organically from Azure Standard. Your order will be milled fresh on the finest setting of my Nutrimill, on the day you pick up from the Bread Basket. Price is for 2 lbs of Fresh Milled Flour with the organic grain of your choosing.

Grain & Wheat Options:

  • Soft White Wheat: Used for cookies, cakes, & pastry baked goods

  • Hard White Wheat: Used for leavened breads

  • Hard Red Wheat: Used for leavened breads

  • Kamut (Khorasan): Used for pastry baked goods & breads

  • Einkorn: Used for pastry baked goods

  • Spelt: Used for leavened breads

  • Rye: A low gluten grain, used for leavened breads

  • Barley: A low gluten grain, used for pastry baked goods

  • Durum: A low gluten grain, used for pasta making & pizza dough

  • Sorghum: A gluten-free grain used for pastry baked goods

  • Buckwheat: A gluten-free grain used for pastry baked goods

  • Rolled Oats & Sorghum Blend: used for cookies, cakes, & pastry baked goods (note: both of these grains are gluten free, however they are milled in a machine that mills wheat)

  • Rolled Oats & Soft White Wheat Blend: used for cookies, cakes, & pastry baked goods

Please note that some of these grains are naturally gluten free. However, they are milled in a stone mill that also processes wheat berries, and thus,
will likely have contact with gluten.

This product was produced at a private residence that is exempt from state licensing and inspection. This product may contain allergens.
