Orchard Tea Party at The Rustic Table
It’s no secret that one of my greatest joys is bringing people together around my table, spoiling you with the good china, good company, and some fresh baked goods from the McKibbon Hollow Baker’s Kitchen.
After lots of dreaming, and the great need for a bigger table to break bread around, I’m delighted to invited you to the new Rustic Table. Re-imagined, this dreamy evening event space brings you together overlooking our sweet little orchard, as you enjoy a fruit-themed Tea Party! Each event will focus on a specific fruit grown in our orchard, and will use that fruit to flavor each baked good/tea/dish provided.
Served family-style around the Rustic Table, our dishes differ from a traditional dainty tea; my hope is that you leave full & delighted in a cozy, dreamy evening with your fellow neighbors. So, put on the nice dress and join us for a walk around the orchard, and then settle in to break bread during sunset at The Rustic Table.
The Rustic Table Menu, Fall Seatings
Saturday’s, 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
McKibbon Hollow Scones
Savory Salad
Rustic Sourdough Bread
Homemade Orchard Jam & Compound Butter
McKibbon Hollow Baked Good
Rustic Orchard Ice Cream
Hot Tea & McKibbon Hollow Raw Honey
Decaf Coffee & McKibbon Hollow Coffee Creamer
Each seating highlights a different fruit grown in our orchard. Each menu item uses this fruit. The following fruits are featured: Blackberry, Blueberry, Peach, Apple, & Pear. Oh, and a special pumpkin themed event, because I couldn’t help myself.
Before you reserve your seat, please note:
The Rustic Table events are held completely outside, in an uncovered patio. We will be subject to the elements, and as such, if we have to cancel due to weather, you will be notified and refunded in full.
This is a ticketed event. You must purchase your seat in advance, so that I can prepare enough place settings, refreshments and food.
All Rustic Table events must have a minimum of 7 attendees for the event to run. If the Tea Party is canceled due to attendance, you will be notified and refunded in full.
If you decide to cancel anytime within 48 hours of the Rustic Table event, I am unable to offer a refund due to the amount of prep required for these events and the selling of your seat.
The week of the Orchard Tea Party (prior to 48 hours before the event), if you want to move your seat to a different tea party on a different date, there’s a $25 Event Change Fee. I’ll send you a link to pay the fee, and sign you up for the new date.
Make sure to use an email you check frequently upon payment, as all details regarding the event will be sent there. An email with final details will be sent the week of your event.
We do have chickens, bees and a dog on our land, please be aware in case of allergies. The bees are kept on the other side of the property and shouldn't bother us at all, and the bestest, smartest, most goodest dog around will be fenced in the garden during your event. But, I can’t promise that a rogue free-ranging chicken might not peck her way through the Orchard during our tea!
Please note that all food is prepared in a kitchen that uses wheat/dairy/nuts/seeds/eggs and other allergens. I can not process gluten-free/dairy-free at this time, my apologies!
